We’ve been running the Joomla Bamboo affiliate program for almost a year now and thought it worth posting about it here just in case you missed it. With each direct referral you get 20% of whatever sales the referral makes and since we are subscription based that referral keeps paying as each member resubscribes.

We are happy to announce the release of another free joomla extension. The JFlickr module delivers a flickr gallery to your desktop using the excellent Jquery script from Project Atomic. You can display galleries based on a photoset, user id, group id or a free text search. You also have control over the number of images, the size of the thumbnails and the styling of the images.

Joomla Security Release and a new look for Joomla.org.

Joomla 1.5.6 has been released as a security update to fix an urgent security vulnerability. If you have used one of our quick start packages to build your site then we advise you to upgrade your site immediately. Here is a link to the upgrade page for Joomla - make sure you take a look at the version of Joomla that you have installed before you start the upgrade.
And while we are at it Joomla.org has a brand spanking new design on the home page. First impressions are that its a very professional retake on the old design that we know and possibly love and it has a nice clean and crisp edge. I wouldnt say that its ground breaking but it’s softer on the eye - which is a good thing.
